Kayla understands the importance of supporting women and families in their pregnancy and motherhood journey, as she has experienced it firsthand. Kayla hopes to create opportunities for caregivers to feel supported and know they are not alone in this life-changing time.

  • Erin Miller

A Pilates instructor for eight years, Erin has always been passionate about connection and community. After welcoming her son, she felt called to give back to Hive as they supported her so deeply in motherhood. She first joined as Interim Programming Coordinator during Kayla’s maternity leave and is excited to now step into the role more permanently, helping create meaningful programs and partnerships for families to grow and thrive together.

  • Sara hutchinson

Sara Hutchinson is a mother of two children, certified doula, childbirth educator, yoga instructor and founder of OMazing Birth. Sara realized while working in this space that although there are many resources in Park CIty for expecting and new parents, there was no hub to gather all the information. In talking to Perry, she agreed to donate her time to this project.

  • lauren davis

I have always had a passion for maternal health, education, and community outreach. I have worked as a labor and delivery nurse for over 10 years, caring for women during and after their delivery. In more recent years, I have become an IBCLC certified lactation consultant and Prenatal Education Coordinator at Park City Hospital. I, along with my wonderful IBCLC partner, run the outpatient lactation clinic at Park City Hospital. In addition to coordinating Park City Hospital prenatal education, I also teach prenatal and breastfeeding courses both in-person and virtually to families throughout the state. I have most recently started a Spanish language breastfeeding class and one-on-one lactation consult visits at People's Health Clinic at no cost to the patients. The addition of these rolls has allowed me to provide education and support to women during their pregnancy and throughout their postpartum period. I have built long lasting relationships with many of my patients. I can truly say I love my job and the women and families that I care for. I have been referring women to Hive events for some time, knowing that the postpartum period can be a trying and lonely time, to say the least. Support during this time is crucial. I love the mission and vision of the Hive Family Collective because it mirrors my own compassion for women and families. The sense of community and support that the Hive creates for our local mommas and their families is magical, and I am thrilled to be a part of it. I wish I had the Hive when I had my babies! I am honored to be on the advisory board of the Hive and cannot wait to see how the Hive grows.

  • kristen schultz

Kristen has led the Early Childhood Alliance since its inception in 2019. Prior to moving to Park City in 2016, she directed government funding and public policy for Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity after spending ten years practicing government contract law with large, national firms. Kristen’s career in law, public policy, and nonprofit work has been made entirely possible by the fantastic childcare providers who cared for her three children.

I joined Hive’s Advisory Board because I think it is so important to support parents and I want every child in our community to have an equal opportunity to a quality foundation that will prepare them to grow, learn, and succeed. Plus, the Hive Founders inspire me!

  • Maggie Turner

A former early childhood teacher, reading specialist, a mom of 2 and a certified pediatric sleep consultant, Maggie created Crescent Peak Sleep to help families achieve consistent and restful sleep for their children by building healthy sleep habits early on, providing customized support every step of the way.

  • DONNA WALSH

Donna Walsh is the mother of two adult children living independent and successful lives in New York City. Donna and her husband raised their children in Omaha, Nebraska far from their families and friends on the East Coast. Donna held a full-time career in finance, primarily private equity. As a founding partner in a Venture Capital firm and an investment partner in private equity, Donna has guided executives and companies through expansion, growth strategies and financial success. As part of the Omaha community for over 30 years, Donna was an active volunteer serving on numerous arts, health and civic non-profit boards. Donna and her husband moved to Park City in 2018 but have been visiting and skiing here since 1986.

I was interested in joining the Hive board of directors because I know how difficult it can be to raise children without family close by. I know the importance of building your community, your “village”, for support and friendship. The Hive is filling a need for Park City newcomers as well as providing kinship and education for all young parents. There is no need to parent as an island. I hope my skills and experience will allow the Hive to flourish, expand and continue its worthy mission.

She looks forward to helping drive the Hive’s impact and connecting more families to its incredible network of care.

  • perry hardy

Perry Hardy is a working mother of two little girls. After having her second daughter in August 2019 she felt overwhelmed. Her situation motivated her to start Hive Family Collective but she needed and wanted to collaborate with other mothers in the community. Perry connected with her friends Sara and Joanna and the Hive Family Collective was born.
