PARK CITY HOSPITAL - INTERMOUNTAIN HEALTH

Nikki has been working in the birth space as a labor and delivery nurse for 17 years, during those 17 years she completed her training as a certified nurse midwife.  It wasn’t until after the birth of her first child that she realized how vitally important lactation support is to new parents.  After her own struggle with breastfeeding (and seeing a great need for this service in the Wasatch Back), she decided to pursue her certification as a lactation consultant and start the lactation service line at Park City Hospital.  In 2019 she became an IBCLC and started seeing patients on an outpatient basis at the Park City Hospital.  Nikki works collaboratively with her colleague Lauren Davis in their clinic as well as local pediatricians and other specialists as needed.  She believes in the importance of educating and supporting the entire family in the feeding choices that meet their individual needs!”

omazing momma

Breastfeeding is simple but not easy.  When Hive Family Collective began, Sara quickly realized that breastfeeding was a hot topic amongst the community.  Sara saw that many new mamas struggling and wanted to help.  During the pandemic, Sara enrolled in the Certified Lactation Counselor program through UC San Diego and completed the program in 2022.  After taking the exam three times (it’s no joke!) she is proud to call herself a lactation counselor.  Sara supports and educates lactating mothers either privately at their home or at the weekly Boob Group.  Sara is well resourced and dedicated to help any struggling mama nurse her baby, wean or find a solution that works best for the family.
